Onze PROO-familie is uitgebreid! 🎉

Sinds 1 augustus hoort Elckerlyc International School officieel bij PROO. Daar zijn we heel blij mee! Een warm welkom aan alle collega’s, ouders en natuurlijk de kinderen van de school.

Elckerlyc International School is gevestigd in Leiderdorp en biedt internationaal georiënteerd basisonderwijs (IGBO) aan kinderen van 4 tot 12 jaar. Dit is internationaal basisonderwijs binnen het Nederlandse onderwijssysteem, met Engels als voertaal.

En internationaal is het zeker: op school komen meer dan 30 nationaliteiten samen. Dat zorgt voor een kleurrijke, open en betrokken schoolgemeenschap waarin kinderen van en met elkaar leren. De school is kleinschalig, waardoor er veel persoonlijke aandacht is en er nauw contact is met ouders.

Het onderwijs is gebaseerd op het International Primary Curriculum (IPC), aangevuld met een stevige basis in Engels, rekenen/wiskunde en Nederlands. Nieuwsgierig zijn, samenwerken, creatief denken en de wereld om je heen ontdekken spelen daarbij een belangrijke rol.

Our PROO family has grown! 🎉

Since 1 August, Elckerlyc International School has officially been part of PROO. We’re absolutely delighted about this! A warm welcome to all our colleagues, parents and, of course, the children at the school.

Elckerlyc International School is based in Leiderdorp and offers Internationally Oriented Primary Education (IGBO) to children aged 4 to 12. This is international primary education within the Dutch education system, with English as the language of instruction.

And international it certainly is: the school brings together more than 30 nationalities. This creates a vibrant, open and engaged school community where children learn from and with one another. The school is small-scale, which means there is plenty of personal attention and close contact with parents.

The curriculum is based on the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), supplemented by a solid foundation in English, maths and Dutch. Curiosity, collaboration, creative thinking and discovering the world around you play an important role.
